The Pier Head is a riverside location in the city centre of Liverpool, England. It is part of the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was inscribed in 2004.
Royal Liver Building, built between 1908 and 1911 and designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas. It is a grade 1 listed building consisting of two clock towers, both crowned by mythical Liver Birds. The building is the headquarters of the Royal Liver Friendly Society.
Cunard Building, constructed between 1914 and 1916 and a grade II* listed building. It is the former headquarters of the Cunard Line shipping company.
Port of Liverpool Building, built from 1903 to 1907 and also grade II* listed. It is the former home of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board.
The Pierhead Building is a Grade 1 listed building of the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff Bay, Wales.


리버풀에서 만난 갑작스런 소나기… 잠시 비를 피했습니다. 아마 옥스포드 였다면 저역시 그냥 비를 맞고 천천히 집으로 향했겠죠.
비 맞는 일에 익숙해서인지 이런 장대비 속에서도 각자의 갈길을 가네요. 우산이 있어도 들고 다니기 귀찮고 또 우산을 사용해도 바람에 쉽게 고장이 나버려 비에 그냥 길들여 지는 편이 제일 좋은 방법인것 같습니다.
